Welcome!

Hello, my name is Catherine Fleishman. Your Integrative Nutrition Health Coach

I love this life.  I am a fitness, Yoga, and meditation instructor.  I have been teaching eight fitness and Yoga classes a week for the last 20 years. I have practiced Transcendental Meditation (TM) since 2005.  My journey here on this beautiful planet, we call Earth is exquisite.  So far, a rewarding life from all other lives that we all agreed to forget so that we could fully participate 100% in this life, wanting to be nowhere else but here, fully participating in whatever we are focusing on, fully present in the now moment.  I have a very rich connection with my intuitive and spiritual nature.  I love to write because writing is my access to this friendly and abundant Universe. Earlier in my life I discovered how I so much love the co-creative nature of this intelligent Universe with so many connections to people through accessing this plane of demonstration and platform to live fully, letting the experiences unfold fully accepting our exquisite human body and systems of network of atoms, molecules, enzymes, chemicals, hormones, and neurons and the cooperative intelligence of our complex ecosystem of thoughts and emotions so from the ether we with by just our thoughts, feelings, and actions alone we create this body. I have merged and married both the material and spiritual, the science and the world of this plane of living.  

This is truly a ride of fun and awe.  I am awed and delighted.


My Journey begins

At a very early age of 7, I was told that I would be diabetic too. I looked up and asked, "What is that, and what does that mean?"  I responded, I don’t think so. I didn't like what it meant because it didn't feel good at all. I became aware that adults will get sick, that this body will not function properly, and I do not want to be that. I became aware of my body and access to my mind. Back then, all I heard from my father was “mind over matter,” even before the entire scientific and research community was saying it. I was unfamiliar with the saying, but in my pursuit of the ideal mind-body connection, I became an avid reader of various subjects, including the science of the mind, science fiction, the Law of Attraction, Quantum Physics, and Epigenetics. Recently, I discovered that Food is Indeed Medicine. I studied the work of Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton, David Sinclair, Mark Hyman, all New York Times best selling authors, doctors, scientist and professors of the different sciences such as biology, genetics, and functional medicine, with Dr. Gregg Braden bridging science and spirituality and so with that is Dr. Joe Dispenza and the complementary sciences. I read Wayne Dyer’s book 10 times, and during my final reading of the last Chapter, I started to see myself in the story. I thought it was about me realizing the book has become me.


I read the Wahls Protocol, a way to treat all autoimmune and chronic conditions, and Max Lugavere’s Genius Food series. These two authors and their stories so inspired me that I went on to study everyone else’s book on this disease and the nutrition space. 

I discovered the bio-hacking space afterwards, so the work of Dave Asprey and Bulletproof coffee became top of mind. By the way, Dave Asprey and Mark Hyman have a very similar story, and their journey to claiming their full recovery from contamination, mitochondrial decline, is worth mentioning here because their story is a must to share. I discovered bulletproof coffee while I was in California, taking my master's courses at Mindvalley headquarters. Instead of going to Starbucks, we went to the Bulletproof coffee shop, which has become very popular.  Dave Asprey’s biohacking course is now offered to members and has proven to be very successful. This reminds me that I was teaching Yoga already, even before the West had no clue what Yoga was. We hid the word Yoga in the name of the class because the Americans thought they would have to change religion. Now, there are more Yoga studios than Starbucks.


I was certified as a professional life coach, studied Psych-K, and earned a master trainer status for Mindvalley. There were over 140 applicants around the world. I was chosen as one of the final 30 or 40 applicants.


I earned my health coaching certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). I studied the ins and outs of holistic health, including foundational nutrition principles, nutrition science, and over 100 dietary theories, as well as innovative coaching methods, personal development, goal-setting, and much more.  


I discovered that we are all multidimensional and unique. There isn’t one diet, one lifestyle change, or one path to wellness. And for that matter, not one composition of our Microbiome is similar to another. Our gut composition is uniquely individual. It is also worth noting that our trillions of gut microbiota are 100 times more numerous than our human cells. So there’s more to talk about our path to health and wellness. 

With this in mind, I embarked on a path of self-discovery to explore how my own habits and decisions have shaped me – and how I can use my personal experience, growth, and self-healing to inspire others, like you, to embark on their journey towards positive transformation. As your partner in health, I’ll share my knowledge to co-create personalized actions based on your goals, preferences, resources, and unique body to move you toward your ideal vision of health.  Fully knowing that you are an intuitive and unique individual, wanting and desiring for your own fun and delight, unending, unspeakable, outrageous Joy.


Take the ride, take the journey, whatever you decide, decide or decide not, is your decision.  I look forward to your work.  Say Yes to You! Love thyself with all your heart and mind, just because you exist and nothing more than that.

I am also hopeful that our current health care system will upgrade to mirror more of the philosophy of Functional Medicine. A health care system rather than a disease care system. Our current healthcare system is effective, but it needs to be upgraded to a more comprehensive, root-cause investigative approach rather than relying solely on drug care management. Asking the Why? Not the question of which drug will stave off the inevitable? I am hopeful, too, that the aging of humanity needs to be defined as a dis-ease and a prevention and acceptance that we don’t have to give up this body attached to an IV machine. 


I am looking forward to working with each one of you individually and with the help of your team of physicians, your functional medicine doctor, and wellness advisors that we can work to achieve your ideal health and wellness lifestyle that makes you whole and happy be more youthful, dis-ease, and pain free and extend your health span to many more years longer lived life to more years of more love, more health, and more happiness.


My philosophy and guidance as I work with each individual is a personalized approach to health and tuning in to what the individual’s needs are. With this in mind, we can find what works best and what is genuinely required to live a fulfilled life. I believe that there is no single path to health and happiness, as we all have different bodies, minds, desires, sensibilities, experiences, and cultural backgrounds, which require an individual approach. The role of the coach is to facilitate and hold space for each client’s transformation to their desired health and wellness lifestyle. The Client and The Coach are co-partners in this life's journey, chosen and agreed upon to create a life that is good for all concerned. 

It is the goal of the program, and my belief, that the individual has their inner guidance and, with that, finds their way towards a transformation of a sustainable lifestyle into their own unique bio-individuality and diverse multi-dimensionality. The path to health and happiness is achievable.

Food is Medicine

  

The program believes that food is medicine and at the very basis of a healthy mind, body, and gut is within the very abundant mitochondria in our cells and to restore them into the fully functioning intelligent systems we all have. 

Body Mind Connection Exercise Yoga Meditation Mindfulness

 Your daily practice in the morning will set your intention to a good healthy start. The early sun rays is good for your energy, good to catch Vitamin D from nature, no matter how much supplement of Vitamin D you take its effectiveness comes from the Sun. Meditate, Be Grateful. Connect to your Source or the one you call your Higher Self. Raise your hands up to the sky, look up, bless yourself with Pure Source Energy and be on your way to a beautiful wonderful experience and expect it. 

 
Your exercise is to move your body, let the heart pump a bit more, get out of breath for a short minute or less, then take your time to walk for a minute or 2, then do it again and again start with a 10-15 minute interval and embrace yourself. Speak this "I love this body that I carry with me 24 hours a day and I even sleep with it. Unless you have another one in the closet, take care of this one, just because.

We believe that everyone should have access to a community that supports a sense of belonging to a common goal and intention to help each other that covers a social aspect or a cause to build a sense of purpose for the good and benefit of the whole in mind, body, spirit, in a social and a safe environment to be welcomed and respected without judgment.
